Backstreet Boys
Banda estadounidense de música pop. Formado el 20 de abril de 1993 en Orlando, sus miembros iniciales fueron Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, A. J. McLean, Kevin Scott Richardson y Brian Littrell. El 26 de Junio de 2006, Kevin Richardson anunció que dejaría la banda. Los Backstreet Boys son la mayor «boyband» que sigue en activo en el mundo, ya que han vendido más de 130 millones de discos. Lou Pearlman, un millionario residente en Florida, quería formar un grupo de cinco chicos jóvenes que supieran cantar y bailar. Para esto, puso anuncios en periódicos locales y fueron seleccionados A. J. McLean, de 15 años, y Howie Dorough, de 20, los cuales ya se conocían por haber acudido a las mismas audiciones en busca de trabajo. El tercer componente fue un niño de 13 años: Nick Carter.
